Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Community Health Sciences (IJCHS) is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online to readers worldwide without subscription fees, paywalls, or registration requirements. This policy aligns with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) principles, promoting global knowledge sharing and advancing scientific discovery in public and community health sciences.

Licensing Terms

Articles published in IJCHS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, anyone is free to copy, distribute, transmit, adapt, or build upon the work, provided proper credit is given to the original authors and publication source.

Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights without restrictions for all works published in IJCHS.

Authors grant IJCHS a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and distribute the manuscript as the original publisher.

Self-Archiving & Repository Policy

IJCHS permits and encourages authors to deposit all versions of their work in institutional, thematic, or public repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, ResearchGate, institutional digital archives) without embargo periods:

  • Preprint (Submitted Version): May be archived anytime.
  • Postprint (Accepted Manuscript): May be archived immediately upon acceptance.
  • Published Version (PDF / HTML): May be archived immediately after online publication, citing the journal and DOI link.
