The International Journal of Community Health Sciences (IJCHS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Johar Center for Social and Innovation. IJCHS welcomes high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of community and public health sciences through rigorous scientific research and evidence-based practice.
Manuscripts submitted to IJCHS must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process and must adhere strictly to international standards of publication ethics.

Note: As a general policy, IJCHS does not consider case reports, narrative reviews, or opinion papers.
All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct academic English. Authors whose primary language is not English are strongly encouraged to seek professional language editing services prior to submission.
Title: Concise and informative, with a maximum length of 20 words.
Abstract:
A structured abstract between 250–300 words.
Must contain the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Keywords: Provide 3–6 keywords. Authors are encouraged to use Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terminology where possible.
Main Text: Formatted according to the standard IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion).
Acknowledgments: Optional section to acknowledge technical support, institutional backing, or non-author contributions.
Funding: Clearly state all sources of funding or explicitly declare: "No funding was received."
Conflict of Interest: Mandatory declaration of any potential competing financial or non-financial interests.
Author Contributions: Detailed using the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) taxonomy (e.g., conceptualization, methodology, writing – original draft, supervision).
Ethical Approval: Mandatory for all research involving human subjects. Must explicitly state the Name of the Ethics Committee/Institutional Review Board and the Approval Number.
Informed Consent: Statement required where applicable.
Data Availability Statement: Mandatory for all submissions.
Example: "The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are available from the corresponding author on reasonable request."
Style: Strictly adhere to the APA 7th Edition style.
Reference Management Software: Authors must use citation software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
Minimum Reference Count:
Original Research Articles: Minimum of 25 references.
Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses: Minimum of 40 references.
Source Quality & Recency:
At least 80% of references must be from peer-reviewed scientific journal articles.
The majority of cited works must be published within the last 10 years, except for foundational literature or international guidelines.
DOIs must be included for all references wherever available.
